Chelsea look set to be the biggest spenders in all of Europe during the January transfer window.

With qualification for next season’s Champions League very much under threat, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is set to sanction another big spending spree this month.

Chelsea have so far spent €12 million (£11m) on transfers.

The Blues brought in Ivory Coast wonderkid David Datro Fofana for €12m from Molde.

Chelsea are also soon set to announce the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Andrey Santos. According to a number of sources, the Blues will pay €12.5m plus add-ons for the Vasco da Gama defensive midfielder.

Chelsea are also in negotiations to buy Argentina World Cup star Enzo Fernandez. The Benfica central midfielder was one of the breakout players of the 2022 World Cup.

Enzo has a release clause in his Benfica contract of €120m and it is likely that Chelsea will pay over that amount in January in order to sign him.
