Raphinha only joined Barcelona in the summer for a big fee but his stay may not last much longer, with interest coming from various Premier League clubs.

The Brazilian winger joined the Blaugrana from Leeds United after a few fine seasons at Elland Road, and Xavi’s side beat off interest from Chelsea to get the deal over the line.

The 26-year-old has always dreamed of playing for Barcelona and he was one of the most exciting signings of the summer when it was completed.

However, things haven’t been quite as rosy and Raphinha has struggled to hit the same heights as he did for Leeds, which has raised questions over his future at the club.

Barcelona consider Raphinha sale

In his first 18 appearances for the club, Raphinha netted just two goals and provided four assists and hasn’t been able to nail down a permanent place in the first team.

Now, reports from Spain and England suggest a Barcelona exit could be on the cards and a Premier League return is a real possibility for the Brazilian.

Sport say Barcelona are unhappy with Raphinha’s performances and he is not providing the cutting edge they expected when they signed him, as he’s failing to make the most of one-v-one situations.

As a result, they are considering all the options related to him, including letting him go at the end of the season if his performances don’t improve.

The likes of Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati have been more effective in his place and that is giving Barcelona other options, putting Raphinha’s future in doubt.

Sport don’t say which clubs will be interested in a move for the winger, but the Sun and the Mirror suggest Arsenal and Chelsea will be willing to pounce if Raphinha is up for sale.

Both London clubs were interested in the player before the move to Barcelona happen and will still be keeping tabs on him at the end of the season.
